We are our thoughts. We all have that negative inner voice that stops us from being positive. Notice how much our negative thoughts consume our mind.
The things you think most about are the things that you will become and receive in your life. We can rewire our brain the more we repeat something – so make positivity a habit.
Here are a few tips I’ve started to follow:
1. Stay in the present moment – We often find ourselves caught up in endless thoughts and emotions from the past. We forget to appreciate the moment. Staying present helps you connect with life. This alone attracts positive energy to you
2. Start your day in a positive way – we wake up in the morning to a new day with new opportunities. So why not wake up a bit earlier, take a longer shower, eat breakfast and do something positive such as reading a book, listening to music or exercising!
3. Exercise! One of the best ways to stay positive. When you exercise, the body releases endorphins which lead to feelings of positivity that help you focus. It is also a great stress reliever
4. Associate yourself with positive people – People can either uplift your energy or drain it. The power of being around positive people will make you feel good. Notice how whenever you’re in a bad mood, positive people can bring you back up even the slightest bit
